CM Dhami launches website of Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell, grand conference of migrants to be held on November 7

Dehradun: For the development of the state, the Dhami government is insisting on taking cooperation from Uttarakhand migrants. For this, the Dhami government is going to hold Pravasi Uttarakhand Sammelan in Dehradun on November 7, in which Uttarakhand migrants living in all the states will be invited. In this sequence, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched the website of Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell in the Secretariat on Saturday.

In the website prepared by ITDA, migrants will be informed about all the policies, programs and activities of the state government. During the website launching program of Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell, the CM instructed the officials that a grand conference will be organized by inviting migrants living in all the states of the country in the proposed Pravasi Uttarakhand Sammelan on November 7. Because everyone is connected to their motherland.

The state government is trying to take the cooperation of the migrants of Uttarakhand for the development of the state and give all possible support to the migrants to connect them with their motherland. Fellow CM said that the migrants of Uttarakhand have made their own identity on the basis of their work in the country and the world. In such a situation, the government should be in touch with all the Uttarakhand residents living in the country and the world, so that we can be a part of their every happiness and sorrow.

Fellow officers were instructed to organize a big conference in the state soon by inviting the Uttarakhand migrants living abroad. For this, the database of all the migrants living abroad should be updated. CM said that the way the migrant brothers and sisters are welcomed during foreign tours, it shows their attachment to their ancestral land and their connection with their culture.

CM said that the Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell has been established in the state with the aim of making the state government reach out to the Uttarakhandi migrants, connecting the migrant Uttarakhandis with their motherland, taking advantage of their expertise, experience and financial capabilities in the development of the state and honoring the migrants.

For the convenience of the migrants living abroad, links to the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India and their important schemes have also been given on the website. He further said that till now contact has been established with migrant Uttarakhandis living in 18 countries.
