Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Minister will review the damage caused by the disaster in various areas of the state by visiting the districts and will also inspect the disaster affected areas. The objective of this review is to closely monitor the progress of relief and rehabilitation works and to assess the damage to all the affected assets on a comprehensive scale.

This decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. It was also decided in the meeting that all the concerned departments will make coordinated efforts to make relief work more effective in the disaster affected areas.

Under this, availability of necessary resources, providing quick assistance to the affected people and early completion of rehabilitation works will be a priority. Chief Minister Dhami said that a comprehensive review of the damage caused by the disaster will be done so that future strategies and policy decisions can be taken timely and effectively.
