Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered an SIT inquiry into the occupation of 35 hectares of forest land in Upper Kosi of Terai West Forest Division. According to the information, about 35 hectares of forest land of Upper Kosi Range has been occupied on a large scale. At the same time, DFO Prakash Arya of Terai West Forest Division says that efforts are going on continuously to vacate the occupation of the land. A notice of eviction from the occupied lands has been issued to the occupants under section 151. Necessary action will be taken in this matter with the help of police and administration. Apart from this, the forest department is making every effort to vacate the possession.
