CM Dhami participated in the farmers’ conference, touted the government’s achievements

Rudrapur: On the occasion of the state’s silver jubilee, the Agriculture Department organized a farmers’ conference at Pantnagar Agricultural University. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended. He greeted the farmers, enumerating central and state schemes. Speaking on the Bihar elections, he said that an NDA government is going to be formed under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand, the state is celebrating it as a silver jubilee celebration. The Agriculture Department organized a farmers’ conference at the Pantnagar Agricultural University stadium today. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the event. Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi, regional MLA Tilak Raj Behad, and numerous public representatives were present. Approximately 4,000 to 5,000 farmers participated in the event. However, the chairs in the pandal were vacated before the Chief Minister’s address. In his address, the Chief Minister said that the state government is celebrating the state’s 25th anniversary as a silver jubilee year.

Today, the Agriculture Department organized a farmers’ conference, where he greeted all the food providers. He stated that for the balanced development of the country, it is essential that farmers’ problems are resolved, that farmers progress in every field, and that government schemes support them. CM Dhami stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of building a developed India can only be realized when our farmers are capable and self-reliant in every way. He stated that farming is like worshipping God for him. He has previously worked in various agricultural fields.

Even today, whenever he finds time, he continues to work in agriculture. He stated that he belongs to the party that is pro-farmer. The empowerment of farmers under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership since 2014 is unprecedented. Farmers’ self-confidence is the country’s strength and greatest asset. Based on this, the central government is tailoring agricultural policies to suit farmers. Furthermore, the government is continuously striving to ensure that farmers in our country have access to the latest facilities available to farmers in major countries. He said that the government is committed to ensuring that the journey from seed to market is not only smooth for farmers but also increases their income. The Government of India is providing financial assistance to 11 crore farmers across the country through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which includes 9 lakh farmers from Uttarakhand. He said that the state government has made unprecedented increases in the minimum price of all crops. Furthermore, through crop insurance, farmers are being protected from losses due to disasters, diseases, and pests. He said that the state government is also working with dedication and commitment for the upliftment of farmers. He said that the state government is providing interest-free loans up to Rs 3 lakh to farmers and agricultural equipment is being provided with 80 percent subsidy. He said that in the interest of farmers, we have also made irrigation through canals free. To increase farmers’ income, a provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for polyhouses. The Chief Minister said that the government has increased the support price of wheat and sugarcane crops by Rs 20. He said that the state government is working at various levels. The government has implemented a new apple policy, kiwi policy, state millet policy, and dragon fruit policy, costing 1200 crore rupees and providing grants. Speaking on the Bihar elections, he said that the NDA government is going to be formed in Bihar once again.
