Haridwar: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in an awareness program organized to mark the ‘GST Savings Festival’ at Haridwar’s Har Ki Pauri market. During the event, the Chief Minister met with traders and the public and gathered feedback on the benefits of reduced GST rates. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new era of economic reforms has begun in the country, and the reduction in GST rates represents a historic initiative to make the lives of all sections of society prosperous.
The Chief Minister said that the new GST rates will significantly benefit the common man by making consumer goods cheaper. He also urged traders to provide complete information about the reduced GST rates to customers. During this, the Chief Minister also called for strengthening the state and national economy by prioritizing indigenous and local products while shopping at various stores.
