Dehradun: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Indian AI Summit organized by Dev Sanskriti University Haridwar. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the role of AI is important in the modern era. Today AI is being used in many fields. AI should be integrated with spiritual values. There should be meaningful initiatives to take India’s knowledge and culture to the whole world through AI. Carry the coordination of science and spirituality together. The Lok Sabha Speaker expressed hope that Dev Sanskriti University will work in this direction so that the future generation is strengthened through technological innovation. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to Dev Sanskriti University and Dr. Chinmay Pandey for organizing the AI conference organized with the aim of establishing coordination between spirituality and science. He said that a unique confluence of knowledge, science and spirituality is seen in ancient Indian culture. Our Sanatan culture is not only based on faith and belief, but is the result of a deep scientific approach, contemplation and research. Our Sanatan culture certainly has a specialty of its own, which is why Indian culture has given countless scientific discoveries to the world. The Chief Minister said that today along with science and technology, AI is also widely affecting every aspect of our life. AI technology is not only making our daily life easier but has also become the main reason for the progress of innovation in industry, medicine, education, agriculture and many fields. If we use this power properly in the right direction, then we can bring improvement in many areas. If we use the power of AI with the right direction and purpose, it can play an important role in improving the lives of people by improving many areas.
Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Commissioner of Asia Region of the Special Commission established by the United Nations for Faith and Artificial Intelligence, said that at present AI is not limited to the technical field only but it is bringing revolutionary changes in many areas including education, medicine, industry and security. However, along with this, many concerns are also coming up regarding its impact on ethics, privacy, data security and employment.
Martil Chungong, Secretary General of Inter Parliamentary Union of Switzerland, presented the global role of AI to everyone through a video message.
