Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, returning from Champawat tour, participated in the seven-day Uttarayani Kautik Fair going on in Khatima. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was given a grand welcome in the fair organizing committee. The Chief Minister expressed his emotional attachment to the Uttarayan Kautik fair going on in Khatima for the last two decades. Along with this, CM Dhami wished the people of the state on Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Ghughtya Tyaar.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, returning from Champawat tour, reached Khatima and reached the seven-day Uttarayan Kautik fair going on in the premises of Tarai Seed Development Corporation. Where the workers of Kumaon Cultural Upliftment Forum honored him by presenting symbols related to the culture of Uttarakhand and draping a shawl. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami, in his address, wished the Uttarayan Kautik fair and gave advance congratulations and best wishes for Ghughutiya, Makar Sankranti and Lohri festival to all the residents of the region and the people of the state.

He said that ever since the Kautik fair started in Khatima, he has been participating in this fair. He has an emotional attachment with this fair. Chief Minister Dhami said that in the Uttarayan Kautik fair, artists get a better platform through dance, singing and other programs. Folk arts and traditional songs of Uttarakhand are also continuously reaching the future generations. This Uttarayan Kautik Mela is continuously working to take its culture forward.
