Nankmatta: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Gurudwara Shri Nanakmatta Sahib on Sunday and prayed for happiness and prosperity for the people of the state. The Chief Minister reached Dharmik Dera Car Seva, where he paid tribute to the picture of late Baba Tarsem Singh. CM Dhami reached Gurudwara Shri Nanakmatta Sahib at 11.50 am on Sunday. Nankmatta. The Gurudwara Management Committee submitted a seven-point memorandum to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding the development of Gurudwara Shri Nanakmatta Sahib. Committee President Joginder Singh said that thousands of devotees reach here from other states during the Diwali fair. He demanded to take necessary steps for the beautification of Gurudwara Nanakmatta Sahib.
He demanded construction of 100 rooms for the pilgrims in Gurudwara Sahib, installation of 500 kW solar panel for power supply, construction of 100 accessible toilets, construction of a water tank of one lakh liter capacity, construction of two thousand meter long sewer drain around the Gurudwara Sahib for water drainage, 700 meter long road and beautification work around the Gurudwara, construction of 400 meter long footpath from Gurudwara Gate to Bhandara Sahib, construction of CC link road between the two inter colleges to connect Tapeda Road to the main road of Gurudwara Sahib. The president said that a platoon of PAC has been staying in the Yatri Niwas of Gurdwara Nanakmatta Sahib for a long time. There is a problem in accommodating the pilgrims. He demanded the removal of the PAC platoon from the Yatri Niwas. Here, the Sikh Sangat demanded the arrest of the remaining accused and conspirators in the murder of Baba Tarsem Singh.
