Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived at the Himgiri Stadium in Letibunga, Dhari Block, on Friday. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 17 projects worth ₹112.34 crore in the district.
CM Dhami also inaugurated eight development projects worth ₹70.73 crore. This includes asphalting of Bhawali bypass part-1 from Sanatorium to Almora road at a cost of Rs. 4.53 crore, improvement of Bhawali bypass part-2 from Bhawali-Sanatorium to Nainiband at a cost of Rs. 11.62 crore, improvement of Bhimtal bypass motor road at a cost of Rs. 7.95 crore, construction work of improvement of Bhimtal-Khutani-Champi-Parampuri-Dhanachuli Pancheshar motor road at a cost of Rs. 16.62 crore, construction of 50 bed critical care unit at a cost of Rs. 19.48 crore, construction of library and multipurpose hall at Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya Halduchaud at a cost of Rs. 8.43 crore, construction of cowshed for destitute cattle at village Puchdi at a cost of Rs. 1.46 crore, inauguration of library room, computer room and science laboratory room at Government Higher Secondary School Jadapani Bhimtal at a cost of Rs. 61.38 lakh.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of 9 development schemes at a cost of Rs. 41.60 crore. The CM laid the foundation stone for the construction of an examination hall at the Government College in Lalkua at a cost of Rs. 5.35 crore, the construction of a boundary wall at Lal Bahadur Shastri College at a cost of Rs. 97.72 lakh, the construction of a tensile shed and pool covering at the swimming pool at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium, Gaulapar at a cost of Rs. 1.5 crore, the construction of a building at the Government Higher Secondary School, Jhadgaon at a cost of Rs. 46.54 lakh, the auditorium hall at Okhalkanda at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh, the construction of a Type-4 residential building in Ramnagar at a cost of Rs. 45 lakh, the construction of a motor road from Doonikhal to Ratighat in Betalghat at a cost of Rs. 9.81 crore, the renovation of the Pangot Daichori road at a cost of Rs. 8.19 crore, and flood protection work for the safety of the Indira Gandhi International Stadium, Gaulapar.
