CM Dhami reached the 17th Agricultural Science Conference, tasted the lassi and barfi of Mandua

Rudrapur: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has participated in the 17th Agricultural Science Conference organized at Pantnagar Agricultural University today. During this, he enjoyed the lassi and barfi of Mandua prepared by the university. Along with this, he gave a grand welcome to the scientists from the country and abroad and honored the progressive farmers of the state.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the stalls set up by various institutions. During this, he tasted the Madua lassi and barfi prepared by the university. After this, CM Dhami inaugurated the second day’s conference and addressed the scientists, researchers, students and farmers and welcomed them.

Scientists from India and abroad gathered on one platform

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the central government and the state government are serious about the upliftment of farmers. Today scientists, researchers, students and farmers from India and abroad have gathered on one platform. Farmers will get a lot to learn from this. He said that the farmers, poor and unemployed have been taken care of in the central and state budgets.

CM Dhami counted his achievements

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that for farmers, our government is giving a loan of three lakh rupees without interest, while 80 percent subsidy is being given to farmers making orchards under agricultural machinery and Apple Mission. He said that the state government is converting the tea gardens of Dhaula Devi, Munsiyari and Betalghat into organic tea gardens. The government is also building 6 Aroma Valleys to promote aromatic farming.
