Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while reviewing the road pothole free campaign, took detailed information from the officials about the works completed so far. In a review meeting with the officials at the CM residence, the Chief Minister directed that wherever the repair work of roads has not been completed yet, it should be completed on priority basis and safe and smooth traffic should be provided to the public. The Chief Minister has given instructions to take strict action against the officers who are negligent in the work of repairing the roads within the stipulated time frame.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to promote the local products of the state in view of the festivals. Proper arrangements for the sale of local products should be ensured. He has appealed to the people of the state to definitely buy local products during the festivals. This will not only support local entrepreneurs and artisans, but will also give strength to campaigns like “Vocal for Local” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. The Chief Minister said that in view of the festivals, an intensive checking campaign should be conducted to prevent adulteration. Regular sampling of food items should be done. The traffic system should be kept strong. It should be ensured that people do not face unnecessary problems in movement.
