Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated and wished the people of the state on Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The Chief Minister has said in his message that the life of Lord Krishna inspires the entire human race to fight against unrighteousness, injustice and tyranny. He said that the life character and messages of Lord Krishna also inspire us to truth, love, sacrifice, peace, service spirit and goodwill.
The Chief Minister said that Lord Krishna is the true protector and guide of humanity. His teachings inspire us in the form of Gita. He said that Lord Krishna also gave the message to man to remain dedicated to selfless work and the welfare of the poor and the neglected section of the society. The message of devotion, knowledge, yoga and karma given by Lord Krishna in the Gita is still relevant today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister has also appealed to the people of the State to take inspiration from the life of Lord Krishna and become partners in the development of the State by promoting the feeling of love, brotherhood and harmony in the society.
