CM Dhami’s announcement – Resthouse for journalists will be built in Gairsain, training programs will be organized in Gairsain throughout the year, secretary level officers will be given responsibility

Bharadisain/Gairsain: On the second day of the monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly going on in Bhararisain, the opposition as well as the ruling party MLAs were seen in a harsh mood. BJP MLA Dalip Singh Rawat from Lansdowne assembly seat of Pauri Garhwal district was seen with a protest placard outside the assembly. At the same time, BJP MLA Durgeshvar Lal from Purola assembly seat of Uttarkashi was seen attacking inside the House.

Lansdowne MLA Dalip Singh Rawat demanded from his own government to improve the policies of the forest department and call a special session. The BJP MLA said that due to the restrictions of the forest department, development work is not being done in the mountains. Therefore, it is necessary to change it.

Demand for increase in financial assistance to the victims injured in wildlife attacks

Dalip Rawat said that the terror of leopards has started increasing in the mountains. Along with small children, women and elderly are also not safe. In such a situation, the forest department should give permission to kill these wild animals. If someone is injured, then the financial assistance given to him should also be increased.

Minister Subodh Uniyal became uncomfortable on questions of MLA Durgeshwar

BJP MLA Dalip Rawat camped outside the house, while inside the house, Forest Minister Subodh Uniyal looked very uncomfortable on questions of BJP MLA Durgeshwar Lal. However, while talking to the media, the Forest Minister said that the government is continuously serious on the matter of leopard attacks and amendment in the Forest Acts. All efforts are being made by the Forest Department. However, as far as amendment in the Forest Acts is concerned, it is a matter of the Central Government. The state government has nothing in its hands on this.
