Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a tribute ceremony held on Wednesday at the Harbans Kapoor Memorial Community Hall, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, on the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of late Harbans Kapoor. The Chief Minister paid tribute to late Harbans Kapoor by offering flowers to his portrait. The Chief Minister said that late Harbans Kapoor was an inspiration to all of us and his work style will continue to guide future generations.
The Chief Minister said that late Harbans Kapoor always prioritized the interests of society and the public throughout his life. His entire life was dedicated to the people and his community. His contribution to the field of development will always be remembered. Sharing his memories of time spent with late Kapoor, the Chief Minister said that he was a symbol of simplicity and sensitivity. He worked for the welfare of every section of society and moved forward with a positive approach on every issue related to the development of the state.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi paid homage to late Harbans Kapoor and said that late Kapoor was an ideal public leader who dedicated every moment of his life to public service. He said that the late Kapoor was his political guru and that Kapoor Sahib has made a significant contribution to his current position. He said that Harbans Kapoor’s contribution to the development of the state will always be exemplary. MLA Savita Kapoor, office bearer Shyam Agarwal and others were present on this occasion.
