Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with his family, planted tulip bulbs in the garden of the Chief Minister’s residence, launching a campaign to grow 17 varieties of tulips. This time, four thousand tulip bulbs are being planted in the garden of the Chief Minister’s residence. These include tulips of special colors of the Lake Purple and Bicolor varieties. The Chief Minister instructed the Horticulture Department to prepare a work plan for the commercial production of tulips, emphasizing innovation in the field of flower production and horticulture.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took detailed information about tulip production from Horticulture Officer Deepak Purohit and also inquired about various horticulture-related activities in the premises, including mushroom cultivation and beekeeping.
