Bageshwar. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, on the second day of his two-day visit to Bageshwar district, reached the banks of the Saryu River this morning to review various ongoing development projects. He interacted with local residents, inquired about their well-being, and sought their feedback on various public welfare schemes implemented by the government.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers at the Bagnath Temple in Bageshwar. He said that this place has held special significance since ancient times. The Saryu River flows through this area and is home to the Pindari Glacier. He said that this place holds immense potential for spiritual tourism. The CM said that we will develop this place and prepare a master plan for it. It is progressing in the field of kiwi and fish farming, and the women here are also doing very good work. I have held meetings with all the departments regarding this, and we will work expeditiously.
On Sunday morning, the CM met young athletes and children. He interacted with the players at the Nador Stadium and also talked to the people during his city tour. He also encouraged the players who tried their hand at badminton. He offered prayers at the Bagnath temple and sought blessings of prosperity from Lord Shiva by performing Jalabhishek. During this, he tasted Jalebi in Bageshwar market and interacted with Jalebi vendors. In the afternoon, CM Dhami will address a public meeting at Kedareshwar ground in Kapkot.
