After the instructions of the Chief Minister, now Uttarakhand Police is going to form a committee on law and order and crimes against women. Which will go to the workplace and organize workshops to prevent crimes against women.

In fact, on Monday, Chief Minister Dhami had a review meeting with the police and police officers of the state on women crimes and law and order. In this regard, he told that he has instructed the police officers to reduce crimes against women and strictly maintain law and order in the state. The Chief Minister said that implementing law and order in the state and reducing crimes against women is the priority of the government. For which instructions have been given to the officers. Along with this, the government is also keeping an eye on cases like demographic change and love jihad.

After the Chief Minister tightened the screws on the police department, the police department has also come into action and some action is also being seen regarding law and order along with women crime. Talking to the media, ADG Law and Order AP Anshuman, citing statistics, said that there has not been as much increase in crimes against women in 2022, 2023 and 2024 as is rumored among the public.

He told that the Chief Minister has given instructions in the meeting that whatever crimes happen, they should be disclosed soon and strict action should be taken against the criminals. The ADG has also said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of DIG, which will keep an eye on crimes against women and will also go to different departments and organize workshops related to preventing crimes against women.
