Rudrapur: Police have become active after a life-threatening attack on Saurabh Behar, the younger son of former cabinet minister and Congress MLA from Kichha, Tilak Raj Behar. A police team is currently questioning him. Councillor Saurabh Behar has been admitted to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Following the incident, a large number of people from various political parties have gathered at the hospital. The police are investigating the matter. The police have identified some suspects, who are being questioned at the police station. Upon receiving information about the incident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to MLA Behar over the phone and ordered an inquiry into the matter. Police said that Saurabh had left his home on Sunday evening to go to the police outpost in the Awas Vikas area when the incident occurred.
