Congress Sounds the Bugle for the 2027 Assembly Elections in Uttarakhand, Newly Appointed State President Takes Charge

Dehradun: The Congress party sounded the bugle for the 2027 Assembly Elections with the inauguration ceremony of newly appointed State President Ganesh Godiyal. Senior party leaders were visibly enthused by the enthusiasm of the party workers, who continued to emphasize unity and election preparations throughout the ceremony.

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, while energizing party leaders by describing them as Pandavas and Panchmukhi Rudraksha, also offered advice. He urged them not to expect the party to lose their seat in the assembly elections while winning all 69 others. Instead, they should focus on ensuring the party wins their seat.

If everyone makes an effort to highlight their constituency, the party will surely emerge victorious. In his address, he described Pritam Singh as Arjuna for the party and Leader of the Opposition Yashpal Arya as Bhima, saying that today the principles of the Constitution, Gandhi, Nehru, and Ambedkar are in danger. Only when Pritam wields the Gandiva and Yashpal Arya wields the mace of social justice will the BJP be defeated in 2027.

The former Chief Minister also urged party workers and leaders to highlight the achievements of the previous Congress government to the public. The Congress government saw the highest number of pensions and jobs created during its tenure. Former State President Karan Mahara said that all senior party leaders are united and there is no conflict among them. Some people at the lower levels are overly enthusiastic and make false claims of factionalism. Such people should be identified.

No Place on Congress Stage

Some senior Congress leaders were denied a place on the stage. Former ministers and some MLAs were not seen on the stage. Meanwhile, the organizers had to struggle to remove some people from the stage. Seva Dal workers were also deployed for this task.

Faulty Sound System Caused a Headache

Party leaders had difficulty addressing the event due to a faulty sound system. Problems began as soon as the address began.

Leaders Enthused by the Crowd of Workers

Senior party leaders were enthused by the crowd of workers at the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed state president of the Congress. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said, despite the defeat in the Bihar elections, the party high command has given some people significant responsibilities, and this has energized the workers in Uttarakhand. This enthusiasm will lead the party to victory in the 2027 elections.

These are the Panchmukhi Rudrakshas in the Congress

Dehradun. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat described Ganesh Godiyal, Pritam Singh, Karan Mahra, Harak Singh Rawat, and Yashpal Arya as five-faced Rudrakshas. He said they possessed numerous weapons, including listing the achievements of the previous Congress government and highlighting the government’s wrong policies.
