Delhi: 2 Senior IPS Officers Transferred, Vivek Gogia Appointed  Special CP of the Special Cell

The Delhi government has announced the transfer and posting of two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in a move aimed at reshuffling key positions in the city’s police force.

Vivek Gogia (IPS: 1991: AGMUT), who has been serving as the Special Commissioner of Police (CP) for Operations (PCR & Communication), with the additional responsibility of overseeing the Technology & Project Implementation Division, has been transferred to a new role as the Special CP of the Special Cell.

In another key move, Manish Kumar Agarwal (IPS: 1996: AGMUT) has been appointed as the new Special CP for Operations (PCR & Communication), assuming the additional charge of the Technology & Project Implementation Division, previously held by Gogia.

The reshuffling comes as part of the Delhi government’s ongoing efforts to streamline the functioning of the Delhi Police and ensure efficient management of key departments.
