DGP Deepam Seth told his priorities, focus will be on law and order, traffic and cyber crime

Dehradun: After taking charge as the Director General of Police of Uttarakhand, DGP Deepam Seth told his priorities while talking to the media. Deepam Seth said that corrective steps will be taken on law and order in the state. Along with this, special work will also be done on the traffic plan.

1995 batch IPS officer Deepam Seth has been made the new DGP of Uttarakhand. After assuming the post of Uttarakhand DGP, Deepam Seth interacted with the officers at the police headquarters. Apart from this, all the challenges of the police in the state were discussed. After this, Director General of Police Deepam Seth while talking to the media listed his priorities and talked about working better in various areas in the state.

When the media questioned him about the change in the current working system of the police, he said that the police will take steps according to the circumstances and if there is a need for change in the working system, then it will also be changed.

DGP Deepam Seth said that Uttarakhand Police is capable of facing all challenges. Therefore, with this spirit, efforts will be made to improve law and order in future as well. He described cyber crime as a big challenge for the state and said that a special plan will be prepared on this to reduce the cases of cyber crime and try to disclose such cases.

DGP Deepam Seth made it clear through his statements that the police action against criminals is going to be even more strict. He said that campaigns will be run to arrest the miscreants. Along with this, verification programs will also be accelerated.

On the question of demographic change, DGP Deepam Seth said that the police is constantly monitoring this matter and if such things come to light, then the police will play an important role in that too. He also said that verification will be done in this matter as well.
