Port Blair: Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal (IPS: 1997: AGMUT) has been appointed as the new Director General of Police of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Dhaliwal served as the Special Commissioner of Police in New Delhi. Meanwhile, incumbent DGP Devesh Chandra Srivastva has been transferred to New Delhi.
