Dehradun: A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal, Rekha Arya, Saurabh Bahuguna, Dhan Singh Rawat were present during the meeting. A total of 6 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting. 6 proposals approved in cabinet meeting: In the Dhami cabinet meeting that lasted for about two and a half hours, six main decisions have been taken. First of all, two centers have been set up under the Uttarakhand Biotechnology Council, but the service rules that were made for it did not have a provision for research. In such a situation, the departmental rules have been approved. At the same time, under the Industrial Development Mining Department, it has been decided to increase 18 posts to increase inspection in the Bageshwar area. The cabinet has approved this. Under the Uttarakhand Flood Plain Zoning Act 2012, the notification was related to the flood zone for the 53 km area from Bhattafall, the starting point of the Asan Barrage river to Asan Barrage, which has been approved by the Cabinet.
In the areas declared as flood zones in Rispana and Bindal rivers in Dehradun, construction of STP, construction of structure including foundation for elevated road, construction of ropeway tower, construction of mobile tower and construction of high tension power line has been approved.
It was decided to develop five inspection buildings of PWD in PPP mode. In such a situation, these five inspection buildings will be developed as world class gate houses in PPP mode. Five inspection buildings of PWD located in Ranikhet, Uttarkashi, Dugalbitta, Harshil and Rishikesh will be developed.
Approval was given to the rules for using the one percent cess money received by the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department from the Excise Department.
Along with these decisions, provision has been made in the Uttarakhand Para Medical Act 2009 and Uttarakhand Para Medical Diploma Course for para medical graduate courses. In such a situation, approval has been given to form a Council (Uttarakhand State Allied and Health Care Council) under the National Commission for Allied and Health Care Professions Act 2021 to regulate their standards, standardize entrance examinations, courses as well as bring uniformity in the standards of registration.
