Dehradun: There is a good news for the employees who retire every year in Uttarakhand. The government has decided to give an additional promotion to all the retiring employees before retirement. In Uttarakhand, about 3 lakh employees serve in government services. Which includes public sector units and educational institutions as well as government funded organizations. Now all these employees will be given an additional promotion by the government just before retirement. On Wednesday, the Uttarakhand government has approved the cabinet in this regard.
Finance Secretary Dilip Javalkar, while talking to ETV Bharat, said that till now it was seen that any employee who retired in the early months of the year or till 31 December, could not get the benefits of promotion at the time of retirement due to lack of service from 31 December to March. The government has now decided to end this practical problem and give the benefit of an additional salary increase or promotion to all government employees. So that the said employee can get the benefit of that promotion at retirement.
3 thousand uniform allowance to government drivers
Dilip Javalkar said that except the secretariat, in all other departments and all government undertakings, the drivers union was demanding uniform allowance for a long time. Which the government has taken positively. In the cabinet, ₹ 3000 per year has been approved for the uniform allowance of drivers. He said that there was no revision regarding uniform allowance for a long time. Whose process has been simplified.
Approval on the demand of Doctors Association
During the recruitment of doctors in Uttarakhand during the implementation of Pay Commission in the year 2016, all the doctors joining in Uttarakhand were kept under the conditions of compulsory services of the state government. Now those conditions have been fulfilled. All the doctors present in the state have also been allowed to choose their services according to their own choice.
Rules changed for women reservation in cooperatives
Finance Secretary Dilip Javalkar said that the state government has made a provision of 33 percent reservation to increase the participation of women in cooperatives. This time women have played an active role in cooperatives. He said that there is a provision in cooperatives that membership will be given to the woman whose financial transactions are as per the rules. This time women are participating in cooperatives in large numbers for the first time. Therefore, if this rule remains in force, women do not get the right to vote in cooperatives. Due to which the target of 33 percent reservation is not achieved. For this, this time relaxation has been given in the rules of financial transactions kept in the cabinet for membership of women in cooperatives.
