Dehradun: In lieu of helping during the disaster, the Air Force has sent a bill of 213 crores to the state government. The government is getting these bills verified. After verification, the state government will request the Center to waive these bills or ask for concession in it.
Meanwhile, Finance Premchand Agarwal also sought information regarding the bills from Secretary Disaster Management Vinod Kumar Suman. Let us tell you that the Air Force has recently sent a letter to the Chief Secretary and sought payment of pending bills of about Rs 213 crore.
These bills, pending since the year 2000, are related to the Disaster Management Department and the Forest Department. Here, according to Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman, the bills are being examined. Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal also told the media persons in this regard that the bill amount is quite large. The central government will be requested to waive it or give concession.
