Dehradun: Today, the Uttarakhand government demolished 3 illegal tombs built illegally in Corbett City Ramnagar area of ​​Nainital district with a bulldozer. These illegal tombs were identified two weeks ago and were given notice by the administration.

According to the information, the Dhami government’s campaign against illegal encroachment on government land in Uttarakhand has started again after the Panchayat elections. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had said recently that the campaign against encroachment on government land has not stopped.

No remains found

In the same sequence, today the administration demolished two illegal tombs built on government land in Ramnagar area with a bulldozer. No remains of any kind were found under them, these structures made of cement were taken away in a dumper. An illegal tomb was also built in a government school.

The said mazar was also removed today. Nainital ADM Vivek Rai said that the said illegally constructed structures were removed today, two weeks before the removal, the local administration had issued a notice at the said site. According to the information, a mazar was also inside a big resort which has been removed with the consent of the resort owner.

541 mazars have been removed so far

So far 541 illegal mazars built on government land in Uttarakhand have been removed by the Dhami government, the special thing is that no remains of any kind have been found in any of them. The Dhami government has also freed 7000 acres of government land from illegal occupation so far. The encroachment removal campaign has gained momentum in Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts.
