Dhami government’s gift to state employees and pensioners, dearness allowance increased by 2 percent, will be implemented from January 1, many development works also got approval

Dehradun: Along with giving a big gift to the state employees, the Uttarakhand government has also taken a big decision regarding development works in various districts. Under this, approval has been given to give increased dearness allowance to the employees in the state. On the other hand, it has also been decided to give financial approval for development works in various districts.

Dhami government’s gift to state employees

Giving a big gift to the state employees in Uttarakhand, the government has decided to increase the dearness allowance. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved an increase of two percent in dearness allowance to the employee.

The government has decided to increase the dearness allowance to all the employees coming under the seventh pay scale, civil and family pensioners, local bodies, aided educational institutions, state universities and employees working in UGC pay scale.

Two percent increase in dearness allowance of state employees

All these employees of Uttarakhand will get the benefit of dearness allowance from January 1, 2025. Earlier, the employees were getting 53% dearness allowance, which has now increased to 55%. With this decision of the government, lakhs of employees and pensioners of the state are going to get its benefit.

Budget approved for construction of Champawat and Lamgara tehsil buildings

Apart from this, the state government has also given approval for the construction of tehsil buildings. CM Dhami has approved Rs 13.86 crore for the construction of Champawat tehsil building and Rs 3.88 crore for the construction of Lamgara tehsil building in Almora under development works. The construction of these buildings will speed up local administrative work and the public will also get better services.

Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar also get a gift

At the same time, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar have also been given a gift regarding development works. In this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved Rs 5.63 crore for various development works in Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts.

Rs 3 crore approved for runway expansion of Pantnagar Airport

Rs 3 crore has been approved for the renovation of the structure and runway expansion of Pantnagar Greenfield Airport, while Rs 2.63 crore has been approved for the construction of parking, boundary wall and access road in Kanalichhina tehsil of Pithoragarh.
