Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has started a new initiative for the meritorious students of the state. The government is going to hand over the command of the administration and law and order of the district to the topper students of Uttarakhand by making them District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police for one day. The objective of the government behind this is to increase the administrative experience and confidence of the children.
Toppers will become DM-SP: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed all the officials to prepare a record of those students of the district who have come in the top position in class 10th and 12th. By making a list of those toppers, it should be ensured that they will be made District Magistrate for one day and SP for one day in their respective districts. According to the information received from the office of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, it will be implemented in the state soon. It is likely that the children who passed this year can also get this benefit. Commendable initiative: Prior to Uttarakhand, such initiatives have been taken in many other states as well. Where at the district level, talented children or special children have been given a special experience by making them sit on the administrative chair. But the Uttarakhand government has prepared a plan for this and has started working on the future. Along with this, the Uttarakhand government is now going to organize festivals on topics like cleanliness, revival and conservation in all the districts.
Children will join the festival program: The objective of the state government is to connect as many children as possible with the heritage rivers of Uttarakhand, the message of cleanliness, information about rivers and streams and the cultural style. For this, the state government is going to organize a ‘River Festival’ program soon. This program will be organized in all the districts. For this, programs will also be run for awareness. The objective of the government behind this is to easily connect students and the general public with environmental conservation.
