Dhami held a meeting regarding the Sharda Corridor project at Uttarakhand Sadan in Delhi, many responsible people were present

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while taking a meeting regarding the Sharda Corridor project from Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi, directed the officials to expedite the work of Sharda Corridor. A joint survey of the land should be done soon for this project. In the Sharda Corridor area, the sensitive area should be studied from the point of view of landslides and work should be done on their protective measures. Under this project, the river front will be developed along the Sharda river to promote religious and cultural tourism. In which beautification of the ghats along the river, many facilities will be provided to tourists and devotees.

The Chief Minister said that the main objective of the Sharda and Ganga Corridor is to further promote religious tourism in the state as well as strengthen the local economy and provide facilities to the devotees. He said that work will be done on different designs in both the projects. Under the Sharda Corridor, many works will be done to promote infrastructure, tourism and economy of the people.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Resident Commissioner Ajay Mishra and related officials were present on this occasion.
