Dhami inaugurated Sanskrit Sambhashan Camp, Sanskrit villages are being developed in every district of the state, CM said – Preservation of Sanskrit is our priority

Dehradun: ‘Sanskrit Sambhashan Camp’ is being organized in the Uttarakhand Secretariat complex with the aim of preservation and promotion of Sanskrit, the second official language of the state and making Sanskrit a common language. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated it. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to the preservation and promotion of its culture and Sanskrit language. With this objective, 13 Sanskrit villages are being developed in 13 districts. Through Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, many schemes are being run to connect the general public with the ancient Indian knowledge tradition of Vedas, philosophy, Upanishads etc. Conservation and promotion of Sanskrit language is the priority of the government. Secretary Sanskrit Education Deepak Kumar Gairola said that Sanskrit conversation classes are being conducted in the Secretariat premises from 29 May to 12 June. In which the officers and personnel of the Secretariat will be given practice of Sanskrit conversation. For which instructions have also been issued by the Secretariat Administration Department.
