Haridwar: ‘Uttarakhand is one and there is no place for divisive thinking here.’ Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this in Haridwar. He also instructed the people who create mountain-plain dispute. Apart from this, he said that the work of Rishikesh Haridwar Corridor Scheme has also started, but there will be dialogue in it. People will be talked to. Development will be taken forward on the basis of where people agree.
In fact, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today attended the program organized on the 50th Foundation Day of Maharaja Agrasen Aggarwal Ashram Trust in Haridwar. During this, he said that all the work is being done by the trust in the field of education, service and social upliftment, which is very commendable. Apart from this, he also gave a statement on the regionalism dispute.
“In the recent past, some people have worked to divide each other in the state. I want to tell them that all of us people of Uttarakhand are one. There is one Uttarakhand. There is no place for this type of mentality here.” – Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand
“Recently, some disruptive elements tried to divide in the name of regionalism and casteism due to their political interests. Therefore, I want to make it clear that while we all are together, there can be no harm to the unity, integrity and social harmony in Uttarakhand. Whatever has to be done for this, we will not step back for it.” – Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand
CM Pushkar Dhami said that Kumbh is proposed in the coming 2027. Preparations for it have started. The number of devotees is increasing year after year. The number of people coming on the Chardham Yatra with Kanwar is continuously increasing. If we compare it with the population of Uttarakhand, then arrangements have to be made annually for 7-8 times more people. In this way, 8-10 crore people come to Uttarakhand throughout the year.
Separate arrangements have to be made for floating population
CM Dhami said that this matter has also been put before the NITI Aayog that instead of providing facilities on the basis of population standard, whatever grant is to be given, it should be given on the basis of the number of people coming from every corner of the country (floating population). Because, all the resources have to be arranged here for them.
