It is worth noting that on Sunday evening the bus fell into a deep gorge in Pauri Garhwal. 6 people died in this accident, while 22 people were injured. The injured were admitted to Pauri District Hospital, but the injured were not able to get proper treatment in Pauri Hospital, due to which the local people created a lot of ruckus. Apart from this, on Monday, the local traders also expressed their anger by closing the city market over the poor health facilities of Pauri District Hospital. Actually, when the injured of the Pauri bus accident were brought to Pauri District Hospital, there was a power outage there. Due to which the doctors treated the injured in the light of mobile torch. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took cognizance of all these things and held a meeting with the officials in the Secretariat and asked the Pauri Garhwal District Magistrate and Health Department to provide basic facilities immediately. The Chief Minister said that now a network of health services is available in far flung areas of Uttarakhand. In such a situation, there should be no shortage in the treatment of seriously ill or injured people in hospitals. For this, availability of basic facilities as well as essential medicines and medical staff should be ensured at all times in hospitals across the state.
