Dhami took to the streets in support of indigenous products, ran ‘Swadeshi Apnao, Rashtra Ko Aage Badhao’ campaign in Paltan Bazaar

Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the countrymen to use indigenous products as much as possible. Also, it has been said to run this initiative as a campaign across the country. After PM Modi’s appeal, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led the ‘Swadeshi Apnao, Rashtra Ko Aage Badhao’ public awareness campaign organized in Paltan Bazaar, Dehradun on Tuesday. During this, he also inspired local traders, voluntary organizations and citizens to use indigenous products as much as possible. Campaign to adopt Swadeshi on the initiative of PM Modi: The Chief Minister said that this campaign is an effort to convey the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India and Vocal for Local to the people. He said that when we give priority to the goods manufactured in our country, both the economic condition of the country and local employment will be strengthened. The CM said that adopting Swadeshi is not only an economic decision, but a national duty. By adopting the mantra of Swadeshi Apnao Desh Ko Majboot Banao given by the PM, we can not only strengthen the country’s economy, but also make local producers, craftsmen and small entrepreneurs self-reliant.

CM Dhami launched ‘Swadeshi Apnao, Rashtra Ko Aage Badhao’ public awareness campaign in Dehradun: Chief Minister Dhami appealed to the traders to put Swadeshi nameplates on their shops, so that consumers have a sense of trust and pride towards Swadeshi. He also said that by using indigenous goods, not only our country’s money will remain in the country, but India will emerge as more powerful on the global stage. During this program, the Chief Minister visited the shops of Paltan Bazaar and put stickers of ‘Adopt Swadeshi, Strengthen the Nation’ in the shops himself. He urged people to give priority to indigenous options in festivals, gifts and daily use. The Chief Minister said that this would not only be an inspirational initiative, but it would also strengthen our cultural identity and the resolve of self-reliant India.

Youth and various organizations participated in the campaign: During the program, a large number of public representatives, officials of trade unions, voluntary organizations and citizens together took a pledge to adopt Swadeshi and participate in the creation of a self-reliant India. Also gave their support to the Chief Minister. Local youth, traders and social organizations also actively participated in the program. The people present supported the campaign with the slogan of ‘Adopt Swadeshi – Save the country’.
