Dhami’s instructions to officials, said – Build two model villages in each district on the lines of Sarkot

Dehradun: Two model villages will be built in each district on the lines of Chief Minister Adarsh ​​Gram Sarkot. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions in a meeting with senior officials at the CM residence on Monday. Said, special attention should be paid to the effective implementation of schemes for overall development and livelihood promotion in these villages.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to strictly follow the law and order on the Chardham Yatra routes. Said, strict action should be taken against the elements creating disturbance and unwanted activities on the Dhams and Yatra routes. The Chief Minister said that the place should be identified and work should be started for the establishment of two spiritual economic zones announced on International Yoga Day. New destinations should be developed to promote adventure tourism further. This will provide better employment opportunities to the regional youth at the local level.

A blueprint of short-term, medium-term and long-term plans should be prepared to strengthen the tourism infrastructure of the state and to create employment at the local level. Along with working fast on the master plan of Hanol and Jageshwar, the plan to build Haripur Kalsi Ghat, instructions were given to benefit the villages connected to the Yatra route with the homestay scheme.

CM Dhami said that integrated efforts should be made for agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, beekeeping, milk development, mushroom production as well as overall social and economic development in the model village to be built in each district. Instructions were given to make arrangements to illuminate these villages through locally produced solar energy. Secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Dhiraj Garbyal, Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari were present in the meeting.
