A devotee from Mumbai provided the flowers for the decoration. Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of BKTC, stated that the temple is being decorated in a grand manner. Diwali is celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm in Badrinath.

The Dharmadhikari of Badrinath Dham, Radhakrishna Thapliyal, stated that Diwali will be celebrated at the Dham on October 20th. On the day of the festival, along with the local people, the devotees who come for darshan also light lamps in the temple premises.
