New Delhi (19.03.2024): After removing six Home secretaries of various states, the Election Commission of India has now appointed Pratyaya Amrit (IAS: 1991: BH) as the new home secretary of Bihar; Dilip Jawalkar (IAS: 2003: UK) as home secretary of Uttarakhand; Vandana Dadel (IAS: 1996: JH) as home secretary of Jharkhand; and Deepak Kumar (IAS: 1990: UP) as Home secretary of UP.
