Dehradun: Uttarakhand State Cooperative Election Authority has released the election related programs of multipurpose cooperative societies. According to the released program, elections will be held in the state on 21 and 22 November. For the first time in these elections, provision has been made to reserve 33 percent posts for women.
In fact, there are more than 670 committees in the state of Uttarakhand, in which for the first time provision has been made to reserve 33 percent posts for women. After the election of the representatives of the cooperative societies, the election of the presidents and vice-presidents of the district and state cooperative societies will be held.
Hansa Dutt Pandey, President of Uttarakhand Cooperative Election Authority, said that according to the program that has been decided, the provisional list of voters will be released on November 6. Objections will be taken on the voter list on November 8. The objections received will be heard on November 11 and the final voter list will be released on November 11 itself. With the release of the final voter list on November 11, the sale of nomination papers will also start. November 13 is the last date for filing nomination papers.
Along with this, scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on November 14 and objections will also be settled. November 16 is the last date for withdrawal of nomination. Election symbols will also be allotted on November 16. Election results will be declared along with voting on November 21.
Along with this, nomination papers will be given on November 22 for the election of Chairman, Deputy Chairman and representatives to be sent to other institutions. The nomination papers will also be scrutinized on the same day. Objections will also be settled. The date for scrutiny of nomination papers has also been kept as November 22. Election symbols will be allotted on November 22 and voting will also be conducted and results will also be declared.
