Dehradun: The matter of voluntary retirement of IFS officer Manoj Chandran has started heating up. After the news in the media, all the employee organizations have started raising their voice in favor of Manoj Chandran. Along with writing a letter to the Chief Minister in the matter, the employee organizations have also met the head of the department. Not only this, the employee organizations have also urged the President of the IFS Association to know the reasons behind the VRS and take necessary steps.
The matter of VRS of Manoj Chandran, senior IFS officer of Uttarakhand Forest Department, is in discussions. We first published the news of Manoj Chandran applying for voluntary retirement. After this, the whole matter also came to the notice of the employee organizations. After the matter became public, now all the employee organizations have opened a front in favor of the IFS officer due to his honest image and being related to employee interests. In this connection, a delegation of forest guards, forest inspectors and forest jurisdiction organization met the head of the forest department, Chief Forest Conservator Half Dhananjay Mohan. Along with pleading not to accept the application of the IFS officer, they have demanded to complete the ongoing investigation against him as soon as possible.

Manoj Chandran is firm on his decision. He wants to leave the state by taking VRS. State President of Assistant Forest Employees Association Swaroop Chand Ramola said that IFS officer Manoj Chandran is upset with the slow pace of the ongoing investigation against him. He wants that the investigation of the case should be completed as soon as possible. Swaroop Chand Ramola says that due to the slow pace of the ongoing investigation against him, the IFS officer has got upset and decided to take educational retirement.
IFS Association maintained silence in the matter
Manoj Chandran has been citing family reasons behind his voluntary retirement, however now many employee organizations have objected to his decision and demanded to withdraw the decision. On this issue, the officials of various organizations also met the President of Indian Forest Service Association, Kapil Lal, although the IFS Association is maintaining silence on the matter. No official statement has been received from the association on this issue. On the other hand, some IFS officers have personally asked Manoj Chandran to change his decision.
