Engineers should complete development schemes in a timely manner: Dhami

Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami called upon the engineers working in all the departments of the state that every scheme related to the development of the state should be completed on time and its 100% benefit should reach the common people. Engineers are the Vishwakarma of modern times who are making life simple, easy and safe. On Friday, after listening to the 23-point demand in the 12th biennial Mahaadhiveshan of Uttarakhand Diploma Engineers Federation, the Chief Minister also said that today we will not make two or three announcements, but after positively brainstorming the entire demand letter, the association will try to fulfill every legitimate demand. Today, the second day of the convention was organized with great simplicity at the Himalayan Cultural Center located at Nimbuwala in Garhi Cantt due to the Ahmedabad plane crash.

All the officers and diploma engineers along with the Chief Minister paid tribute to the people who became victims of the accident by observing two minutes of silence. The Chief Minister said that due to the accident, he had postponed most of his programs. But due to hundreds of people coming from all over the state to the federation, he decided to come here. He said that while doctors work to save lives, teachers work to improve lives, engineers make life simple, easy and safe. He said that ever since he has got the responsibility of the Chief Servant of the state, he has been trying to solve every problem. Many demands of the engineers have been fulfilled earlier also. The Chief Minister, while referring to his historic decisions like Uniform Civil Code, Anti-Copying Law, Anti-Forced Conversion Law etc., said that today Uttarakhand is rapidly moving towards joining the leading states of the country. The decisions of the state are also becoming an inspiration for other states. Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan, while congratulating the engineers for the convention, appealed to them to pay special attention to the continuous inspection and quality of the construction site. He said that by taking precautions at the time of creation, the construction of the plan also becomes better. The Chief Secretary advised that everyone should also keep updating their knowledge and skills according to the time. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released the book of the Sangh. General Secretary Mukesh Raturi read the CM’s letter of honor and the union’s demand letter. On this occasion, Union President SS Chauhan, State Employees Council President Arun Pandey, General Secretary Shakti Bhatt, PC Joshi, Harish Nautiyal, Drivers Union President Sabar Singh, PS Rawat, Mukesh Bahuguna from Ministerial Association, VS Rangadh, VD Joshi, Bharat Singh Dangi, etc. were present.
