Dehradun: CM Dhami participated in the “Musical Sunderkand Paath” organized by Uttarakhand Seva Samiti at Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple Dehradun for the upcoming successful and auspicious Char Dham Yatra. Addressing a large number of devotees present in the temple premises, Pushkar Singh Dhami said that after the disaster of the year 2013, the Shri Kedarnath Dham complex was completely damaged. Since the year 2014, due to the tireless and continuous efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous reconstruction and renovation work is being carried out in the grand and divine Kedarnath Dham.
The Chief Minister said that in the initial days, the operation of the Yatra is a bit difficult, for which other important related departments including Transport and Police Department will be specially instructed for strong arrangements. The CM said that last year also we had to face a major disaster in Kedar Valley. Roads and bridges were damaged at about 29 places, but due to the vigilance and efforts of the government, all the devotees remained safe and after working on a war footing for 35 days, the Yatra was restarted in the second phase. Devotees from all over the country and the world also appreciated our efforts.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this year also, more than 25 lakh registrations have been done for the Char Dham Yatra so far. The CM said that preparations for this year’s Char Dham Yatra were started only after the conclusion of the 2024 Char Dham Yatra.
