Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) meeting held in Gairsain, CS gave recommendation to various schemes of many departments

Gairsain: Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) meeting was held in Vidhan Sabha Bhawan Bhararisain Gairsain on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi. During the meeting, various schemes of Public Works Department, Higher Education Department, Secondary Education Department, Animal Husbandry Department and Drinking Water Department were recommended.

During the meeting, the work of setting up virtual and smart classes in hybrid mode in 840 government secondary schools of the state was approved. Along with this, under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the work of strengthening of Mori Netwar Sankari Jakhol Motor Road (State Highway No. 48) of development block Mori of district Uttarkashi by hotmix / FDR technology (length 42.15 km), and the work of widening and improvement of Lambarpur to Langha Motor Road of Vikasnagar assembly constituency of Dehradun district from one and a half lanes (5.50 metres) to two lanes (7.00 metres) by DBM and BC (length 10.00 km) were also recommended. During the meeting, recommendation was given to the construction / upgradation of various buildings of Kumaon University, Nainital under PM-Usha Yojana, recommendation was given to the building construction work of milk powder plant, ice cream plant and confectionery unit in Sitarganj area of ​​​​Udham Singh Nagar district and the reconstruction work of drinking water scheme of Banbasa town of Champawat district under Amrit-2.0 Tranche-1 scheme.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagoli, Dr. Pankaj Pandey, Ravinath Raman, Director General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari and other senior departmental officers were present.
