Khatima. Farmers expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for increasing the price of sugarcane by Rs. 30 per quintal by presenting him with a sword, sugarcane, and jaggery. He was welcomed with a turban.
At the welcome ceremony held at the helipad, the Chief Minister also tasted the jaggery and sugarcane presented by the farmers. He listened to the public’s problems and directed officials to address them on priority. Kashipur Mayor Deepak Bali, Khatima Municipal Council President Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Prem Singh Tourna, Prakash Tiwari, Rajpal Singh, Prem Singh Rana, DM Nitin Bhadoria, and SSP Manikant Mishra were present.
