New Delhi : Anand Mishra (IPS: 2011: AM) resigned from the police service with the expectation of getting ticket from Buxar Lok Sabha constituency but the BJP fielded Mithilesh Tiwari replacing Ashwini Chaube. Now, he is mulling for an option of contesting as independent. After resigning, Mishra was camping in Buxar in hope of getting ticket but was he given assurance or he took a call his own to resign is in doubt. Mishra was of the view that he quit his job with this feeling that he will get a big platform to serve people of Buxar as the PM has a vision.
