A big case related to making fake certificates to take advantage of reservation in Uttarakhand has come to light. The Freedom Fighter Successor Family Committee has complained to the Chief Minister in this regard, in which it has been apprehended that some people are doing big fraud to get the benefit of reservation given to freedom fighters in the state.

Complaint was made to CM Dhami: The special thing is that after receiving the complaint, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself took the matter seriously and has ordered the Chief Secretary to immediately constitute an SIT and get the whole matter investigated. Freedom Fighter Successor Family Committee has expressed apprehension that attempts are being made to get fake admission in MBBS in the name of freedom fighters’ successors by preparing fake documents.

Apprehension of taking advantage of reservation with the help of fake certificate: The committee has also expressed apprehension of gross rigging in the state for making fake certificates for this. In the state, it has been said that two percent reservation will be given to the first and second generation of freedom fighters in government college admissions and jobs and apprehension of fraud has been expressed to get this reservation.

Allegation of Freedom Fighter Successor Family Committee: When the media talked to Bharat Bhushan Vidyalankar, patron of Freedom Fighter Successor Family Committee in this matter, he said that there is a provision of two percent reservation for the family members of freedom fighters and it is being seen that the number of eligible candidates for this reservation is continuously increasing, whereas only a few freedom fighters are left alive in the state. In such a situation, there is a possibility of taking advantage of this reservation given to freedom fighters in a fraudulent manner and that is why they had made a written complaint in this regard to the Chief Minister, on which the Chief Minister had given instructions to form an SIT.
