New Delhi: Five IAS Officer Trainees from the 2022 batch have been assigned as Assistant Secretaries in the Ministry of Power, Government of India. This follows the completion of their district training at the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
The officers and their assignments are as follows:
Dr. Deepak Kumar IAS (Tripura 2022), who holds an M.B.B.S. degree, completed his district training as Assistant Collector in the Office of DM & Collector, Sepahijala District, Bishramganj, Tripura.
Mohd Shabir IAS (AGMUT 2022), with a B.Sc. degree, concluded his district training attached to the Deputy Commissioner in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh.
Suvigya S Chandra IAS (AGMUT 2022), a B. Tech. graduate, completed his training in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
V Sanjana Simha IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2022), also a B. Tech. graduate, concluded her district training as Assistant Collector in Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh.
Vidyamari Sridhar IAS (Manipur 2022), holding a B.E. degree, finished his district training in Manipur.
Starting from May 20, 2024, until July 12, 2024, these Officer Trainees will be immersed in the daily operations of the Ministry, gaining invaluable experience in governance and policy implementation. This eight-week period is a pivotal stage in their careers, providing them with firsthand exposure to the workings of the Indian bureaucracy at the highest levels.
