Five IPS officers transferred in Uttarakhand, know which officer got what responsibility?

Dehradun: Indian Police Service i.e. IPS officers have been transferred in Uttarakhand. Five IPS officers of the state have been transferred. IPS officer Mukesh Kumar has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police PAC. Mukesh Kumar was currently responsible for Assistant Inspector General of Police P&M, Superintendent of Police SCRB and CCTNS.

At the same time, apart from IPS officer Mukesh Kumar, Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal has been given a big responsibility. Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police Crime and Law and Order. Currently Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal is handling the responsibility of Assistant Inspector General of Police Prison.

  • IPS officer Rachita Juyal has been made Superintendent of Police Vigilance Establishment Uttarakhand.
  • Jitendra Mehra has been made Superintendent of Police Crime and Traffic. Jitendra Mehra was till now handling the responsibility of Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime and Traffic in Haridwar.
  • Niharika Tomar has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (Crime and Traffic) of Udham Singh Nagar district. Currently, Niharika Tomar is handling the responsibility of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime and Traffic) in Udham Singh Nagar.

Let us tell you that recently the Union Home Ministry has given its consent for promotion from State Police Service to Indian Police Service cadre in Uttarakhand. In this way, an officer of State Police Service in Uttarakhand is going to get a chance to be promoted to Indian Police Service cadre. Many PPC officers of 2005 batch are still waiting to be promoted to IPS.
