Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh dies, CM Dhami and Karan Mahara pay tribute

Dehradun: Former Prime Minister of the country Manmohan Singh breathed his last on Thursday, 26 December at AIIMS Delhi. Manmohan Singh was 92 years old. Manmohan Singh’s health deteriorated late on Thursday evening, after which he was admitted to AIIMS Delhi, where he died during treatment. All the leaders of Uttarakhand have condoled the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami shared his condolences on X. CM Dhami wrote that

‘Very sad news of the demise of former Prime Minister of the country Dr. Manmohan Singh ji was received. While discharging various responsibilities, his entire life was dedicated to the service of the nation. I pray to God to give place to the virtuous soul in his feet and give strength to the bereaved family and supporters to bear this immense pain.’

Uttarakhand Congress President Karan Mahara has also condoled the death of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Karan Mahara said-

Today India has lost a great economist, a visionary leader and an example of simplicity. Manmohan Singh’s contribution is invaluable in strengthening the economy of our country and preserving democratic values. His departure has ended an era. You will always live in our hearts Sir, your legacy will always inspire.
