Dehradun: As per the announcement made earlier by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the proposal to provide equipment free of cost as per the requirement of all Divyang people by organizing district-wise special camps till next World Disabled Day and to provide free online coaching to Divyang students for Civil Services Examination has been approved.
The Chief Minister has given financial approval of Rs 69.19 lakh for the construction of Harichand Guruchand Bang Vishal Community Bhawan in rural area of Vidyan Sabha area Rudrapur and Rs 5 lakh for organizing Balbhadra Khalanga Fair in Dehradun. The Chief Minister has approved the construction of approach road for Base Hospital, Pithoragarh from a suitable place on Chandak Motor Road, expansion of District Hospital by shifting the government residence of Superintendent Engineer, Public Works Department adjacent to District Hospital, Pithoragarh to Ayantra place, development work for the convenience of devotees in Dhwaj Jayanti Mata Temple and financial grant of Rs. 5 lakh for organizing Barabisi Mahotsav to be held at Tehsil Headquarters Devalsthal.
The Chief Minister has also approved the proposal for carrying out protective works in Sipu (Galati Nala) and Kalika Nala (till the bridge) Dharchula, training to Raji tribe residing in Pithoragarh, work of connecting the main highway Dharchula-Tanakpur to Ogla Hasheswar road, construction of welcome gates on both sides near Taleeshwar temple on Moolghat to Jauljivi road.
Along with making village Sarkot of Tehsil Gairsain an ideal village assembly, the Chief Minister has approved the asphalting of the Sarkot to Bhararisain motor road and naming it after the martyr Late Vasudev.
The Chief Minister has given approval for the beautification of the only Danveer Karna temple of Uttarakhand located in Vidhan Sama area Karnaprayag and has directed to provide the departmental report for connecting Gairsain with Garhwal and Kumaon districts and to make tourism easy and convenient by building a depot of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation in Gairsain.
