Goa Congress VP Writes to CEO, Complains South Goa SP Is Not An IPS Officer

New Delhi: In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of Goa, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) complained that a non-IPS officer had been made the superintendent of police (SP) of South Goa. Mr. Sunil Kawthankar’s, the vice-president of GPCC, letter to the CEO read, “A non-cadre officer is appointed to the post (of South Goa SP). thus violating the rules of the central govt. In view of the model code of conduct, such violation needs to be viewed seriously.”
