Good news for golden card holders, cashless treatment will be available in three private hospitals of Dehradun, CM gave instructions

Dehradun: In view of the difficulties being faced in the treatment of golden card holders in Uttarakhand, the Health Minister directed to prepare a proposal by talking to the stakeholders. In this sequence, on the instructions of CM Dhami, Health Secretary R. Rajesh Kumar said that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, golden card holders will continue to get full treatment facilities in three major private hospitals of Dehradun.

These hospitals include Jolly Grant Hospital, Mahant Indresh Hospital and Graphic Era Hospital. Treatment services will continue here with golden card. All necessary medical facilities are being provided to the eligible patients coming to these hospitals.

In fact, the employees, pensioners and their dependents of the state are not able to get the benefit of health facilities through golden card. The main reason for this is that due to non-payment of treatment to the hospitals, the hospitals have withdrawn from providing treatment. Due to which now the Health Department had decided to fix these problems of golden card holders. Under which, recently Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat had instructed the departmental officials to focus on better arrangements so that the beneficiaries can get the benefit of the scheme. Also, prepare a concrete proposal by talking to the stakeholders for the smooth operation of the scheme and make it available to the government.

Let us tell you that in the financial year 2024-25, a total contribution of Rs 150 crore was deposited by the government and autonomous personnel and pensioners, while about Rs 335 crore has been spent on the treatment of beneficiaries under the scheme. Due to which the hospitals have not been paid. At the same time, the Health Secretary said that the objective of the government is to provide proper health facilities to every eligible citizen of the state.

Through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, free treatment facilities are being provided to millions of poor and needy families. The state government wants to implement this scheme in a better way. At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that providing timely and quality health services to every citizen is the goal and supreme responsibility of the state government. In such a situation, the state government is working to easily provide free treatment facilities to the poor and needy through the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
